As a publisher, I bear a large part of the load of promoting and publicizing my authors books. BUT, the more presence and following the authors themselves have, the more books sell. I can’t do it alone – especially since social media makes everyone so connected, readers expect to be able to connect directly with the author, not have to go through their publisher. Even when the publisher is as witty and charming as this one is.
